My next book is almost ready and I would like to thank everyone for your wonderful suggestions and feedback on the name.
And the winner is: The (Honest) Truth About Dishonesty, How We Lie to Everyone–Especially Ourselves.
The publication date is June 5th — more info to follow

Yay! That’s great news. Congratulations on your third, looking forward to reading it.
Amazing cover Dan! loved it. Hope the book is as interesting as Predictably Irrational.
Great ! Cant wait for it. Maybe it will be published on audio format.
Hope some day you will make a visit to Romania.
There is here an interesting enviroment : the old habits from the comunist times evolved in to new capitalsit ones.
Keep up the good work !
Wow! The title is really interesting. I’m so looking forward reading it!!
Congratiulations with your third one. Your books are great for getting the masses interested in psychology. Looking forward to reading it. But I am still waiting for Dining without crumbs: the art of eating over the kitchen sink. Surely there has to be a publisher that is willing to publish it now
Congratulations!
There’s one way to find out if a man is honest – ask him. If he says, “Yes,” you know he is a crook. ~Groucho Marx
Congratulations. I am excited about reading it.
Great work once again Dan. I am not looking forward to reading this. (or am I?)
Looking forward to read it. I hope Hebrew version will follow soon after.
Well done!
Congrats! What an enticing and compelling topic.
Dan,
I could try to convince myself that I’m not going to buy your third book the moment it comes out (even though I’ve read & thoroughly enjoyed the other two), but I’m afraid I’d be lying to myself.
I’ll pre-order once you post the info…
Looking forward to it.
Awesome…
There is hilarious essay written by Mark Twain on the Art of ‘On the Decay of the Art of Lying’. If you have not read it then I highly recommend it.
Honestly

Whoohoo!
I can’t wait to find out what I’m lying to myself about. (Okay, I have a few hunches).
I can’t wait!!! I i wish i could go buy it tomorrow.
June 5th? I don’t wanna wait that long! So excited!
Love the title! Good luck!
I’ve read your other two books, and will certainly read the new one. Looking forward to it!
That’s great news.I can’t wait!
Congratulations! Looking forward to it.
Congratulations! And what a fabulous title!
Love the title. Can’t wait to read the book!
What a coincidence! Your publication date is on my birthday… and this is no lie
Looks like a great read!
I am waiting the book here in Brazil!
)
Congratulations, Dan! I look forward to reading it and gaining new insights.
Wendy
Love your books, Dan. My wish is for the publisher to allow you to read your books yourself instead of some British dude.
I certainly can’t wait for the publication of the new book … love the first two books ….
Are you lying to your self about the “almost ready” part where only the name and cover are ready ?
Joking…
Congrats.
As i was requested to hand back your book back to the library. i used the opportunity to re-listen to the English narrated version of the 1st and now to the 2nd book.
The narrator is good but although your accent is still noticeable. for me, it’s preferable as it hold more subtle nuances that carry additional feeling (and information) that doesn’t pass through the narrator.
I believe time and effort is another factor, please consider narrating it with your own voice.

i wonder what lies i keep telling myself….can’t wait to get hold of this book! congrats! lovely cover and book title….
Should survey houses and pollsters be afraid?
Congrats – can’t wait to read it. Will you do an audio version again?
Is there a reason you chose the bold red and yellow colors for the cover? Anything to do with Wells Fargo or McDonalds?
I do a lot of work looking internally at how our perception of ourselves affects our reality. I can’t wait to read the book!
Wow! Great news. Could you put short video with introduction to this book? That way I might ponder the subject before I study the book. And many others here as well, I guess
How about the audiobook!! Cause it’s easier to work and listen than to work and read (at least according to my newspaper 5shot latte skinny soya vanilla sprinkles reading boss)
Very, very excited about this! Gave you a shout out on my leadership blog, RAIL. Keep doing what you’re doing, Dan! Huge fan.

Congratulations, I’m looking forward to it.
I also like the audio books, would it be possible to read it yourself. I like the other readers, but I’m so used to hearing your own voice in the youtube videos it’s a bit disconcerting to hear someone else read the books. I first heard of you at iTunesU, with Apples new focus on education do you think it might be possible to take your class on iTunes U now. Keep up the good work all the same. It’s a very interenting area of study.
This looks very interesting for me.
I’ve read a book called “Beyond Bullsh*t Straight-Talk at Work” from Samuel A. Culbert and I liked thoughts that he shared with us so I started to look up for similar books. Do you know this book and will your book be similar to Culberts book?
Thanks in advance!
Great! Looking forward to it, congratulations!
Can’t wait to read it Dan…but when is the cookbook coming out?
Dan,
I’m one of your biggest fans! I’ve read and loved and recommended your last two books and will look forward to reading this one as well. You’re insights are incredible (and that is the honest truth).
I can’t wait! Great title, and I’m even more excited about the content!
I’m looking forward to it, Dan. I’ve been promoting your books all over the world in my conference speaking circuit. Glad to have one more to recommend!
Chris
Sounds exciting. Is your new book concerned with self-serving biases? Sort of in the vein of Why We Lie by David Livingstone Smith; The Folly of Fools/Deceit & Self-Deception by Robert Trivers; Why Everyone (Else) is a Hypocrite by Robert Kurzban or Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me) by Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson?
Your take will of course only add to this literature
