Attention Predictably Irrational Fashionistas!
One of our readers, Ms. Justine Chiu, has sent me two fantastic pictures of her Predictably Irrational outfit. If anybody else has fun ideas for how to dress Irrationally, please email them to me and I’ll put some more pictures up on my blog.

Nice!
I’m now in love with Predictably Irrational Girl.
Damn you Ariely! *shakes fist*
How is this “irrational” dress?
I don’t understand the point of this other than to give attention to a girl in mismatched clothing.
@Aaron
Seems perfectly rational to me. And… do you understand the point of most of what you come across on the internet?
Your cover makes it seem as though the complex mind is faced with only two decisions. You demonstration rational with irrational in an exercise called arbitrary coherence. You summarize the findings through numbers yet you skipped the obvious.
The power of suggestion in your example was 23 in the analysis of the numbers of the group is it any wonder that the suggestion of 23 played equal or more of a role than the last two digits of the social security number?

Someone should sew up a Predictably Irrational T-Shirt. For extra irrationality, they can include an extra sleeve or two.
My thoughts exactly, Aaron.
Adorable! I’ll see what I can come up with.
It doesn’t need to be more rational that she’s a babe who’s taken a photo with his book.
I have, indeed, read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I just happen to have other interests like book cover design and fashion, and it is common practice for fashion enthusiasts to post pictures of their outfits as exemplified in user-generated fashion content communities such as chictopia.com. On the Internet, there is already a saturation of written reviews of the book, in the form of blog posts and discussion boards. It gets boring. That’s not to say that the picture was my opinion of the book. I wanted to make my friends laugh at how the jacket cover looked similar to some clothes I had. On an unrelated note, I guess I was trying to communicate that not all people who read about behavioural economics are MIT professors with beards and wear belts WITH suspenders. I just wanted Mr. Ariely to know that his audience includes young readers who understand his work from a different angle.
I recognize those colors. Go Florida Gators.

DAYUMMMMM!!!
I love the pictures. I see an intelligent, beautiful, creative and highly imaginative person. It portrays the irrationality of life, how an intelligent well read individual can also ‘non conform’ to the perspective of all who may be expected to be readers. Every moment of life is to be enjoyed. To be enjoyed we have to find and create ways to make it pleasurable. Thank You!
