Predictably Irrational Short Story Series No. 2
In a follow-up to the much acclaimed “Pinch of Saffron” , this latest Predictably Irrational Short Story is a thrilling Wall Street tale of overpricing CDOs, again written by one of my Behavioral Economics students, Andrew Holmberg. It’s entitled, “Fixed Income”, and you can find it here.

My latest book, The Upside of Irrationality, explores some positive and some negative ways that irrationality plays out in our lives.

Dan,
The latest short story by one of your students you posted suffered from a vast amount of irrelevant detail and a zick-zack path to the points the author was laboring to make. May I suggest running future short stories by an experienced editor, as this reader finally gave up at page 7.
Regards,
HRM

Dan -
Afraid I have to agree with HRM. Although I very much enjoyed Saffron, this short story desperately needed an editor’s help before being posted.
Do love your blog!
Best,
Amy
Dan,
Have you considered soliciting Predictibly Irrational Short stories from fans of your book? I bet a lot of them would be happy to contribute- in fact, you and your colleagues may end up with more than you have time to read (assuming you have time to read them the first place).
Even if you didn’t have time to read them all, you might find a random sample of them interesting.
